Sacraments

Celebrating the sacraments is a vital way to encounter God's grace, deepen our faith, and grow as a community in Christ.

A Sacrament is an outward sign instituted by Christ to give grace.

Jesus Christ formed a community of disciples, from whom he chose apostles to spread the Gospel. The Church, nourished by the seven Sacraments, continues Jesus' mission to transform the world with God's love. The Sacraments give us strength to live Jesus' way, and prepare us for life with him after we die.

There are Seven Sacraments in the roman Catholic tradition.

The three sacraments of Christian initiation are Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

The two sacraments of healing are Reconciliation and the Anointing of the Sick.

The two sacraments of vocation are Marriage and Holy Orders.

The sacraments are pivotal in a life journey and give special meaning to a person's life. Please refer to the individual sacraments.
